The Turning Point

Being in a loving relationship is never easy, especially when your mate has no understanding of your true feelings. I have tried on numerous occasions to explain to him what I need in our relationship, although he says that he understands and will try. Nothing ever changes. Its the same thing day in and day out. He can be very sympathetic to his friends and know the answers to all of life's questions. But he can't understand what simple means. I love a simple life. Not complicated and full of drama. He thrives on drama.The turning point in our relationship came about when I finally realized that he was never going to change. Since I was not getting what I wanted from him, I left. Now he is sorry that I am gone and tells me that he understands what simple means. It's too late now, I have reached the turning point and cannot go back. It's just that simple.
