What Is Hard?

I have found that the hardest thing about life is that love never really lasts. Unless, no it never lasts. Last night I was watching "Their Eye Where Watching God", and Janey (Hailey Berry)loved two men in course of the movie. They both end up dieing. Love never lasts you always have to give it up and move on. You have to forget how wonderful they are, the nice words they say, that they were the one that made you see how much really do deserve. You have to forget it all. It doesn't really matter if they die or just stop loving you, you have to let go and move on.
The hardest part for me was that I had to forget the freezer and the break room. I had to forget the statement "Don't worry you always have me to talk to, you can tell me anything." In most relationships I find it is "easier" to a degree to date my best-friend, until you find yourself having to let go of the relationship and not letting things slip, you are no longer allowed to say "I love you, honey", ten times a day.
I have found that the hard part about dating your best-friend is that in order to remain friends you have to not be so close, you cant ask each other advice and talk about your new relationships, this is even more so when you have said "I love you" to each other, if you do it ruins every thing because one of you is bound to feel unwanted, unloved, uncared-for and possibility incomplete. It is even hard to consider seeing each other again for fear that you might want to or worse do something stupid.

Is it possible for a couple that is best friends to break up and remain close and be able to move on and have other relationships all at the same time?If so how? I REALLY DONT WANT TO LOSE Liltee...
Advice please...
