WHAT WOULD YOU DO??

If the trumpet should sound this instant signaling the return of the Lord, WHAT WOULD YOU DO??  Would you greet Him with shouts of Glory, would you cry for the rocks to fall on you and hide you from His face, or would you try some other ploy to escape the wrath of God?  Just maybe you would be prayed up and ready to meet Him in the air.  I truly hope so.

As time marches on, there are constant reminders that our time is growing short.  Whether we are here during the Rapture of the Church or whether we go by the grave, our time is very short compared to eternity.  I realize that folk have been saying this for thousands of years now, but think how much shorter our time is than when Paul was ministering to the gentiles.  Now consider what the Word teaches, one day with the Lord is as a thousand years with man.  Holding to this principle it has only been two years since Jesus walked upon this land.  Think on that!

Preparation for the hereafter is the most sane thing one can do while living here on earth.  Should one fail to serve the Lord and then come to the end of life, only to be cast into outer darkness and eventually into the lake of fire where there is no reprieve, and one would be separated from God for all eternity, how sad that would be.  Considering how easy it is to give ones heart to God and the rewards one would accrue during a lifetime of service to Him, small wonder that many people consider salvation.

If you have never called on Jesus to save your soul, it’s high time you did so.  He has never turned anyone away that has sincerely repented of their sin and asks Him to save them by the Blood of Jesus Christ.  A short prayer of repentance and acceptance of the Lord as your Savior and you will be assured of a Home in Glory for all eternity.  A simple prayer follows:  Heavenly Father I confess my sin to you and ask forgiveness in the name of Jesus, I turn from my sinful ways and acknowledge the virgin birth, the vicarious life, the cross, the resurrection of Jesus, and I ask Him to come into my heart just now, Amen.

If you prayed that prayer, I look forward to seeing you in Heaven.  God richly bless you and your family all the days of your life.
