A French term meaning “the theory or system of government that upholds the autonomous character of the economic order, believing that government should intervene as little as possible in the direction of economic affairs”.  That has happened all too often in times past, and is now to a great degree happening throughout the so-called free world.  With only a semblance of order, a system will fall into chaos.

Anarchists have brought down many systems, and more will follow as the world order seems to be “do your own thing”, and so-called leaders are morally corrupt in the performance of their duties.  The day when honest men occupy positions of leadership is far spent, and all seem to be galloping along with their hands in every conceivable pot of corrupt endeavors.

When presidents are impeached, congressmen and senators turned out of office for a gaggle of mismanagement, and you need a scorecard to tell the good guys from the bad, then we have reached the pinnacle of decadence.

What ever happened to people like old Honest Abe, George Washington, and a myriad of others that helped to establish this great country?  Have we gone so far to the criminal side of life that honest people can no longer serve in high office?  Have we slid so far down the scale of decency that only those with a black heart can survive and prosper?  I surely hope not.

The times when one sees good news in a paper or on television, it makes you want to shout for joy.  There is so little good reported.  Like the old Hee Haw gang said “if it’s not for bad luck we’d have no luck at all”, we can say if it’s not for bad news we’d have no news at all, or most of the time.

Lest you think I’m a doomsayer, let me assure you I have the utmost hope and support for our great nation.  But I do feel that the only saving grace for this wicked world is to put your trust in Jesus and prepare for His soon coming return to get his bride.
