Verbal words I failed to find,
Way to redeem, escaped my mind. Demon haunting will and way In years that past, I’ve tried to say: Punishment deserved, yet no one gave Dreams and thoughts today enslave, Despising the image that mirrors show Yet those I hurt, did not let go? Confused in wonder, how and why Still can’t make sense, though I try? Without a judge, Compassion showed Unworthy forgiveness, rivers flowed Dear to heart you’ve been and stay All but one thing left to say: Apologetic to my shadow deed, Thankful for my friend indeed.
