Clancy Tucker has had an interesting life. He writes young adult fiction for reluctant readers but has also achieved success as a poet and photographer. Clancy has lived in four countries, speaks three languages,has photography published in the USA (Innocent Dreams, A Trip Down Memory Lane, & Endless Journeys), has work registered with the International Library of Photography,included in literary magazines and has written more than 100 short stories.
Clancy's been short-listed and highly commended in writing contests here in Australia, the United Kingdom and the USA, including The Australian National Literary Awards (2006 & 2007), had more than ten short stories and poems published in literary magazines and newspapers.In 2006 he won a poetry prize to name a life-size statue designed by renowned Belgian sculptor, Bruno Torfs. Clancy is widely travelled, has a great love for South East Asia, worked with street kids and has enjoyed an interesting working career. He draws on life's experiences to write entertaining stories for young adults.
