Immigration (Posted: Apr 6) Immigration is overdue. It has become however the spectrum of America’s cancer. A political issue and embarrassment to the American government. In May 6, 1980, the United States was hit with a powerful and disturbed exodus in history. The arrival of the Cubans, the so-called the Marialitos. Legal residents first Florida and then in the whole country from that time once considerate themselves at risk losing their moral and their jobs as they were afraid of being raped by them and stealing by them and replaced by them. Their fear seemed to be obvious. Mr. Castro had just sent in that fatal day in front of Carter Administration a variety of madmen, intellectuals, and whores. Two years later, the Marialitos had been absorbed in the American pool and a year later no one seemed to remember them.
In contrast to it the issues of immigration has appeared to be the Mexicans. Before them the Chicanos, the Italians, etcetera. The old jokes are coming back. Not all Mexicans are illegal, and there is the ignorance that all Hispanic or Latinos come from Mexico. It is a perfect time for us to face it with an intelligent voice and being directed to this issue and what is good for everyone. That encourage me to say that we seem to forget we are part of this immigration issues long time back. We Americans are part of this foundation what America is. The America is made of that transforms. It was since the pilgrims (1620) seeking freedom were a living example of abuse and discrimination toward the American Indians. What it followed a variety of criminals and rapists and thieves in which they had brought immediate recognition of brutality and ownership before the American natives.
But while we criticized, we also ran into that issues that is part of American history: Slavery. This kind of immigration cannot be blame because it was a free source. Does this make a resolution from this one? How many big companies have such a way to profit from this new immigration? Slavery and immigration toward the Mexicans cannot be separated from unquestionable merit of what United States is made of. Every avenue toward immigration we are questioning the foreign policy which has brought about the mortgage crisis earlier and to be so progressive toward the Chinese cheap labor. I must say immigration is not an issue and it will never has been if we considered the exportation of Chinese people from Hong Kong to San Francisco and Western Union railroad as another pool of slave toward them. Not either there are a competing principle where we are here to find for a piece of bread or being used. If we give citizen status to those who are making a living I believe it prevents illegal teens having babies or killing them or families root out the government sources and there will be an alleviation toward us as a taxpayer. And this good to that there will be a balance to our effort to make this country more better and human.
